This is a limited-edition felt painting from the “Silk Paper” series.
How much can the felt bare? This series of work leaned into the process of “wet felting”, with repeated washing and pressing, it pushed the wool to its thinnest capacity. This collection resulted in soft, delicate paintings that are almost paper-thin. Woven silk fibers catch the light, giving each work a quiet luminosity.
